Cancellation and refund policy

This policy applies to accommodation bookings and extra packs purchased and paid through Staylio (stayliocostadaurada.com), operated by Staylio Rentals.

Bookings made on Airbnb or other external platforms are governed solely by those platforms’ cancellation policies.

If the booking has not yet been paid (pending status), you may cancel at any time from your account or confirmation link at no charge.

Unpaid pending bookings may be released automatically after a short period so the dates become available again.

A refund is only available if you cancel more than 30 days before the check-in date stated in your booking.

In that case, 90% of the accommodation amount paid on Staylio is refunded. The remaining 10% is non-refundable and retained as an administration fee.

Within 30 days of check-in, no-show, or early departure: no accommodation refund.

Deadlines are calculated against 12:00 (mainland Spain local time) on the check-in date stated in the booking.

Tourist tax collected via Staylio is a local levy. If the stay does not start and you cancel with a right to a refund under section 3, we will refund 90% of the tourist tax collected by Staylio provided it has not yet been declared/remitted to the competent authority.

If the tax has already been remitted, the stay has begun, or you cancel within 30 days of check-in, tourist tax is non-refundable.

Extra packs (cot, beach, activities, etc.) booked with the stay follow the same rule: 90% refunded if you cancel more than 30 days before check-in; the remaining 10% is non-refundable.

Within 30 days of check-in, on no-show, or once the stay has started, packs are non-refundable.

We will respond within 2 business days. Approved refunds are returned to the original payment method, usually within 5–10 business days depending on your bank.

Date changes are subject to availability and may involve a price difference; they are not an automatic right.

If we must cancel for a reason attributable to the accommodation or force majeure (e.g. serious property damage), we will offer equivalent rehousing or a full refund of amounts paid on Staylio.
